Foundation

Sal Martino

Sal Martino, Ed.D., R.T.(R), FASRT, CAE

Sal joined the ASRT Foundation in 1999 and serves as the chief executive officer of both the ASRT and the Foundation. Sal came to the ASRT after a 20-year career in academia at the City University of New York. He received his doctorate from Columbia University in New York and was awarded recognition as a certified association executive in 2005.

 

Steve Hardy

Steve Hardy, M.S., R.T.(R)(T)(CT), CMD

Steve Hardy joined the ASRT in October 2017 and serves as the chief operating officer for the ASRT Foundation and executive vice president of the development and corporate relations department for ASRT. Previously, he worked for more than 20 years in leadership positions in California, ranging from director of imaging/radiation oncology operations and chief dosimetrist to adjunct professor. He has a master’s degree in healthcare management from New England College.

 

Laura Niel

Laura Niel, CAE, CPA

Laura joined the ASRT in 2014 and serves as the chief financial officer of both the ASRT and the ASRT Foundation. Previously, Laura worked for more than 20 years in the Washington, D.C., area, providing financial leadership to companies in the health care, energy and association fields. Laura is a certified public accountant and was awarded recognition as a certified association executive in 2014. 

 

Cassie Burton

Cassie Burton

Cassie Burton came to ASRT in 2008 as a Member Services Specialist. She accepted roles in Government Relations and Governance before joining the ASRT Foundation as Program and Grants Coordinator in 2018. Each position gave her an opportunity to grow at ASRT, enhance her ability to understand and meet member needs and perfect her organizational and communication skills. Cassie holds degrees in communication and psychology from Central New Mexico Community College.

 

Cindee Heronimus

Cindee Heronimus

Cindee Heronimus joined the ASRT Foundation in 2018 as the Fundraising Coordinator. Cindee has more than 10 years’ experience in fundraising and event planning and more than 20 years’ experience in sales.

 

Laura St. George

Laura St. George, R.T.(R)

Laura joined the ASRT staff in July 2017 as a lead for Member Services, training and guiding a team to respond to member questions and issues. In 2019 Laura was promoted to manager of the corporate relations department, coordinating with ASRT and Foundation team members to connect companies with ASRT members. Before joining the ASRT staff, Laura worked for more than 10 years as a radiologic technologist in many capacities, ranging from operating room coordinator for radiology to working in an active orthopedic clinic. Laura continually focuses on patients, the people ASRT members serve.

 

Sally Frye

Sally Frye, B.A.

Sally serves as the corporate relations associate for both the ASRT and the Foundation. She was employed by the Foundation in 2005, following a 14-year career at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio, where she served as executive assistant to the president from 1996-2004. She earned a bachelor’s degree in human services administration with a concentration in humanities from Antioch University McGregor.

 

Becky Montoya

Becky B. Montoya, B.A.

Becky B. Montoya joined the ASRT Foundation in 2016 as a donor relations associate and now serves as the ASRT corporate relations advertising and sponsorship representative. Becky has 20 years’ experience in sales and fundraising and more than 15 years’ experience in event management. She has a bachelor’s degree in public relations and marketing from New Mexico State University.
