Donation FAQ

Do my ASRT dues include a contribution to the ASRT Foundation?

No. Your ASRT dues go directly to the ASRT to help fund your continuing education credits, track and transfer costs, discounts and more. The ASRT provides a grant to the Foundation, but there is no direct correlation to membership dues.

What is the ASRT Foundation's tax ID number?

The ASRT Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our tax identification number is 85-0323021. Donations are tax deductible.

How can I donate to the ASRT Foundation?

We welcome donations from individuals and organizations. You can support the ASRT Foundation through general donations or designated programs such as scholarships, research or community outreach. Donate online or e-mail us for more information.

Why give to the ASRT Foundation?

Your donation provides scholarships and grants to medical imaging and radiation therapy students. You can contribute knowing that we will use your gift to help those working to make a difference in patient care.

By helping the nation’s best and brightest earn their degree or certificate in this field you also are helping patients receive the quality care they deserve. Thanks to generous donations from corporations and a grant from the ASRT, almost all of our administrative expenses are covered, which means almost all of your donation goes to support R.T.s and students. In addition, your donation is tax deductible.

Can I give to the Disaster Relief Fund at any time?

Yes. All donations to the Disaster Relief fund will be held until such time as ASRT makes a matching donation on behalf of members in response to a qualifying regional, national or international crisis. Make sure you select "Disaster Relief" under Donation Options.

Where does my donation to the Disaster Relief fund go?

At this time, the ASRT makes donations directly to the Red Cross on behalf of ASRT members. We have a long-standing relationship with the Red Cross and believe that they are committed to providing immediate assistance with shelter, food and disaster relief during times of crisis.
