Dear ASRT Foundation Donors,

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to you for making the Professional Advancement Scholarship possible for me. I was ecstatic to learn of my selection for this honor and am deeply appreciative of your support and selfless contributions.

I am currently working full time as an imaging supervisor at Highlands Oncology Group and will begin the Radiological Sciences master’s degree program at Midwestern State University in August. After I complete the two-year hybrid program, I plan to teach at the collegiate level, either within the nuclear medicine, PET or CT realm, or in a medical-related program of study. Eventually, I would like to pursue a doctoral degree in the medical sciences.

It is important to note that I am a single mother of a 20-year-old son with functioning Asperger’s, ADD and anxiety, and that both of my parents are in a nursing home. My mother has vascular dementia (along with several other diseases) and my father has Alzheimer’s. I want to convey that without this scholarship, I don’t think I would have been able to pursue my dream without incurring substantial financial debt.

Thank you again for your support. Your generosity has inspired me to eventually become a volunteer for one of the ASRT Foundation's committees. In the future, I hope to give to scholarship funds and provide the same opportunity you have provided me.

Sincerely,
Jamie L. Gladson
