The ASRT Foundation has selected this year's Siemens Healthineers Education Journey Award recipients. Four ASRT members will receive up to $4,000 each to attend the educational or professional conference of their choice and cover the registration fee for the conference plus travel and lodging for the recipients who attend in-person events.
The program, which promotes peer-to-peer education and supports professional development in the radiologic technology community, has given more than $100,000 to recipients since the program started granting awards in 2016.

The recipients of the 2023 Siemens Healthineers Education Journey Award are:
Joanne Murray, R.T.(R)(CT)(MR), is the chief technologist/lead at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Murray will attend the 2023 Radiological Society of North America conference, Nov. 26-30, 2023, at McCormick Place in Chicago.
Tamir Soto, R.T.(T), is the staff radiation therapist at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut. Soto will attend the ASRT Radiation Therapy Conference, Oct. 1-3, 2023, in San Diego, California.
Beth Stewart, R.T.(R), is a staff technologist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Stewart will attend the ASRT Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting, June 27-30, 2024, in Orlando, Florida.
Megan Wood, R.T.(R), is the clinical coordinator at Centra Health in Lynchburg, Virginia. Wood will attend the Siemens Healthineers Innovations for Healthcare Professionals, May 21-23, 2024, in Orlando, Florida.
