ASRT Foundation Names Recipients of Education Journey Awards

Three ASRT members have been selected to receive this year’s $4,000 Siemens Healthineers Education Journey Award to attend the educational or professional conference of their choice.

The award promotes peer-to-peer education and supports professional development in the radiologic technology community by covering conference registration fees, travel and lodging for three ASRT members.

The recipients of the 2021 Siemens Education Journey Award are:

  • Christopher Daza, M. Ed. R.T.(R)(CT), a full-time faculty member in Radiography and Computed Tomography at Houston Community College will attend the 2022 United Kingdom Imaging and Oncology Congress to be held July 4-6, 2022. The location is still to be determined at this time.

  • Iustinian Gologan, R.T.(R), a staff technologist at Northside Duluth, will attend the 2022 United Kingdom Imaging and Oncology Congress to be held July 4-6, 2022. The location is still to be determined at this time.

  • Larry Martin, MACPR, R.T.(R)(MR), a program director at Ohio State University, will attend the 2022 Siemens Innovations for Imaging Conference in Las Vegas, NV. Final conference dates are still to be determined.
