ASRT Foundation Selects Five Recipients for Travel Award

Five ASRT members have been selected to receive this year’s $4,000 Siemens Healthineers Education Journey Award to attend the educational or professional conference of their choice.

The award promotes peer-to-peer education and supports professional development in the radiologic technology community by covering conference registration fees, travel and lodging for three ASRT members.

The recipients of the 2019 Siemens Education Journey Award are:

Julie Gill, Ph.D., R.T.(R)(QM)University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College, will attend the ASRT Educational Symposium and Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico, June 24-28, 2020.

Carlen Hardy, B.S., R.T.(R), Trinity Hospital, will attend Siemens Innovations for Imaging in Las Vegas, April 21-23, 2020.

Sierra Montoya, R.T.(R)(M)(BD), Kaiser Permanente, will attend the ASRT Educational Symposium and Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico, June 24-28, 2020.

Michelle Morris, R.T.(R)(MR), CDI and Multicare, will attend the ASRT Educational Symposium and Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico, June 24-28, 2020.

Alvaro Silveira, R.T.(R)(CT)(MR), VA Northern California Health Care System, will attend Siemens Innovations for Imaging in Las Vegas, April 21-23, 2020.
