ASRT and the ASRT Foundation are excited to offer R.T.s a unique learning opportunity through the Scholarly Writing Training Grant.
The new grant was developed around the fact that sharing knowledge is an essential part of advancing the medical imaging and radiation therapy profession. One of the most influential ways you can add to the pool of knowledge in the profession is through sharing your expertise in peer-reviewed or scholarly articles in academic and scientific journals like the ASRT’s Radiologic Technology and Radiation Therapist. Understanding the important role research and writing skills play in being published led the ASRT to create this professional development opportunity through the Foundation.
As a recipient of the Scholarly Writing Training Grant, you will receive a free copy of the ASRT’s Research and Writing Essentials. The online modules will help you learn to research and write a scholarly or peer-reviewed article in order to share your knowledge with colleagues in a recognized scientific or academic journal. Having an article published will help elevate your reputation as a professional and help strengthen the profession. In case you needed one more reason to apply for this grant, you’ll earn 7 free CE credits after completing the learning modules.
Twenty individuals will be selected to receive grants this year; you could be one of them! Applications will be accepted until March 17.
