The ASRT Foundation and Siemens Healthineers have partnered to offer the Siemens Education Journey Award to help ASRT members overcome the financial obstacle of attending a conference. Siemens Healthineers and the Foundation, who understand the valuable role that peer-to-peer learning plays in professional growth, created this award to help radiologic technologists expand their knowledge by learning from the expertise and experience of others in the profession.
Three recipients will be given the opportunity to learn from their colleagues at a conference in 2017 and have up to $4,000 of their registration and travel expenses covered. They can attend one of the following conferences or select a different one.
- Siemens Innovations for Imaging – March 27-31, 2017, Atlanta
- Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists – April 27-30, 2017, Ottawa
- United Kingdom Radiological Congress – June 12-14, 2017, Manchester, England
- ASRT Educational Symposium and Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting – June 22-25, 2017, Orlando
- ASRT Radiation Therapy Conference, in conjunction with ASTRO – Sept. 24-26, 2017, San Diego
- Radiological Society of North America Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting, including ASRT@RSNA – Nov. 26-Dec. 1, 2017, Chicago
Applications for the Siemens Education Journey Award are open only to ASRT members and are due by 11:59 p.m. Mountain time on Jan. 27. Applying is easy and takes only a few minutes. Submit your application before it’s too late.
